²³ When Jesus came to the ruler’s house and saw the musicians and the mourners making a noise, ²⁴ He said to them, “Depart. The girl is not dead, but is sleeping.” And they laughed Him to scorn. ²⁵ But when the people were put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.
